Verification
Control how new members get access to your server.
On this page
Before you start
- Enable Discord Community Rules Screening and create or choose the role verified members will receive. A temporary unverified role is optional.
- Check channel permissions so unverified members cannot access the channels reserved for verified members.
- Qreate has Manage Roles permission and sits above both roles in the role list.
Set it up
- Open Verification in the dashboard: Choose your server and switch Verification on.
- Choose the verified role, any additional roles to grant, and an optional temporary gate role to remove after verification.
- Keep the main verification sequence: members accept Discord Community Rules Screening, receive a Verify Now link in a direct message, and complete a human check in the browser. The check is set up by Qreate; you do not need your own key.
- Choose help, log and welcome channels. Configure reminders and auto-kick timing only if your server needs them.
- Save the settings. A published rules or verification panel can provide a fallback or manual entry point; it does not replace Community Rules Screening in the main flow.

Verified role grantedCheck it works
Join with a test account, accept the Discord rules, open the Verify Now link from the direct message and complete the human check. Confirm the verified role is granted, the temporary gate role is removed if configured, and the correct channels become visible.
If it does not work
Member verifies but does not get the role
Check that Qreate has Manage Roles and the Qreate bot role is positioned higher than the Verified role in Discord.
New members can see channels before verifying
Check channel permission overrides. @everyone must have View Channel turned off on public channels.
A member cannot finish verification
Check their current stage on the member card and send a verification reminder. The optional repeat-account and proxy checks are off by default; review the log before changing their settings. Manual verification bypasses the check, so reserve it for trusted members.
