Set it up
- Open Branding, then Chat persona. Describe the character, choose its channels and triggers, set cooldowns and a daily cap, then enable and save.
What to know
- It can answer mentions, replies to its messages and chosen whole-word names. Mentioning everyone does not trigger a mention reply.
- Replies are short. Context is limited to six recent messages and the triggering message, each shortened to 300 characters. This is not long-term memory. The character has no tools, cannot change settings, can be wrong and identifies itself as AI when asked.
- Defaults: 20 seconds per member, 5 seconds per channel and 200 model calls per server per UTC day. Calls also stop when the server's Q allowance is unavailable. Calls that produce no usable reply still count toward usage.
- Bot permissions in the chosen channels: View Channel, Send Messages and Read Message History.
This makes the bot post replies without anyone approving each one. It uses your server's Q allowance. It only answers in the channels you choose.
