Getting started

Connect your server and get your first setup working in the dashboard.

On this page

Before you start

  • You have Administrator or Manage Server permissions on your Discord server.
  • You can sign in to Qreate with the Discord account that manages your server.
  • Qreate's bot role is placed above the member roles it will assign or manage.

Set it up

  1. Open qreate.gg/dashboard and sign in with Discord. Use the server picker to add or choose the server you manage.
  2. Check basic channel access so Qreate can view your channels and send messages.
  3. Turn on your first module, such as Welcome or Reaction Roles, and save your settings.
  4. Review your settings and test the setup in your Discord server.

Command check

text
/ping
/help

Check it works

Run /ping in any channel where Qreate has access to confirm the bot responds. In the dashboard, confirm your server displays an active status.

If it does not work

The bot appears offline or commands do not show

Confirm Qreate was invited with the application.commands scope. Reload Discord with Ctrl+R to refresh the command list.

The dashboard says you do not have permission

Make sure you signed in with the Discord account that holds Manage Server or Administrator on that server.

The bot cannot assign a role

Open Discord Server Settings, go to Roles, and drag the Qreate role above the roles it manages.
